Cynthia was born and raised in Orange County, California. Seeking a deeper connection with nature and a break from the urban hustle, she relocated to Nevada City eight years ago, embracing the town's tranquil environment, and its picturesque views.
Cynthia has dedicated her career to supporting and enhancing educational experiences. She brings 15 years of experience as a para-educator and resource teacher at the high school level to SAEL. She earned her bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach, and recently furthered her education with two years of specialized training through Placer County School of Education,
Cynthia has been married for 37 years and raised three children and she now enjoys the role of proud grandparent to a delightful granddaughter. In her free time, she often goes exploring nature through hiking, kayaking, and snow sports.
